{Spotlight Project} Deepti Plays with Patterned Papers and Sugar Rush!

{Looking for the Holiday Coffee Lovers Blog Hop post? Click here! There are prizes!}

Hello, friends! Deepti here and welcome to my 7th spotlight feature. The new stamp club set, Sugar Rush, has got on me and I couldn't help but create a trendy card with it.

So here's a look at the finished card. The idea is to keep the color scheme simple and use patterned paper for this trendy set.

Here's a step-by-step photo tutorial on how to came this card.

Step 1
Cut the patterned paper into panels, with the woodgrain panel wider than the grey striped panel. Adhere the panels on card base with some glue and foam tape.

Step 2
 Stamp the macarons on patterned paper, fussy cut, and slightly shade it with color pencils.

Step 3
Also stamp the sentiment and create a mini tag. I created this by drawing the tag around the sentiment with a scale and pencil and then cutting it with a trimmer, and punching a hole.

Step 4
Finally, assemble all the elements. To add some interest to the design, I added tissue paper behind the stamped image.

Here's the finished card once again :)

That finishes my 7th spotlight feature :) I hope you enjoyed it and will give this a try. Happy crafting!
